While the NZ Performance Car team decided to step back from running hardparks this summer and focus on a few other projects, we had always hoped some others would pick up the concept and run with it. So it was great to see a group of passionate guys from Wellington step up to make sure the infamous Riverbank Hardpark happened in 2015. The 04-based event has always been one of the biggest on the calendar, and this year was no different with a seriously good turnout with cars travelling from as far as Auckland to attend.

While it's a dead given that there will be a good turnout of modified cars, these types of events have always been more about the people getting together and hanging out.

The one common denominator of the hardpark events is always that there will be some seriously cool cars to check out. No matter what ‘scene’ you may label them from.

There were simply good vibes from all ... while this may sound a little cheesy and cliché it was the truth.

We can only hope that this spurs on other active people to organize and hold their own events in their area. We know Riverbank will be back in 2016, so the tradition is living on. Come on guys, what are you waiting for?
