Women with Wheels out west

Posted in Lifestyle, News

The Ranui Swanson Lions Club of West Auckland will be hosting their inaugural car show with a twist on Sunday, November 27; a show specially for the ladies of New Zealand, focusing on showing the men what their cars are about.

Aptly named Women with Wheels, the show is intended to show off the vehicles owned by the ladies of the west (and beyond), from muscle cars to classics, with the event organizer saying, “We are well aware of how the ladies of New Zealand love their motor vehicles.”

The show is set to take place at Kumeu Showgrounds with gates opening from 10am until 4pm. Family passes are only $25 — ladies, bring the man in your life along, and make sure not to miss this opportunity to get amongst the car world.

All proceeds this year go to a variety of charities supporting women’s health.
